Alums Can't Get Enough!
There is no question we love our alumni to stay in touch. We love it even more when they continue to compete and swim beyond their college days. Two Alums (Mike Wade and Michael Wong) recently swam in the La Jolla Rough Water Swim. With over 350 competitors, both Mike's swam to impressive finishes.

Football Concessions!!!
On Saturday, September 19th, the football team was not the only team working hard. Over 30 of the Oxy Swimmer and Divers worked the football concession stands. While raising funds was great, they really had fun hanging out with each other. Check out the pictures below!

Beach Day!!!
In the words of captain Sara Mendoza...
Beach day was a success! We all met at the Athletics building Sunday morning and drove to Manhattan beach. Don't blame me, but the car of upperclassmen (myself included) managed to get lost. Fortunately, we all made it there in one piece. It was a little chilly at first, , but the sky cleared up and it was gorgeous. Mostly everyone got tossed around in the huge waves that day and the rest of us watched from the non-threatening sand. Overall, it was a good day of relaxation, which we all needed. Nothing beats the Sunday blues like a trip to the beach!

BBQ!
Everyone got together tonight for the first team "meeting", heck, we'll just call it what it was, a BBQ. The best news...Coach didn't burn any burgers or hot dogs.
It was a great opportunity for the upperclassmen to welcome the rookies to the Oxy Swimming & Diving Family. This may be the only time of the year they are not stressing about academics, and with free food, there were smiles everyone. Check out the pictures!
